What is it:

• The Masamune Razor was the first TATARA shaving product to be produced. It has been fashioned with the look of a classic safety razor but with unique lines of the future and, due to a minimalist design is able to transmit our view supported by purity, elegance, and simplicity.
• The Masamune Razor is a smooth and efficient razor. This is due to its small blade gap and negative blade exposure.

Details:

• The Muramasa razor is comprised of an adjustable sliding base-plates system that provides a strong support to the blade and a quick adjustment of the blade exposure (BE) and blade gap (BG). While rotating the dial you will move the base plates together/apart from the razor’s head, changing the point of contact between the blade and the user’s skin. This means a difference in BG and BE at the same time. A numbered window will display the level setting you are at as you rotate the dial.
• Option to include a Muramasa base stand with nylon anti-scratch interior
• The closed comb plate is our smoothest option and the most popular. It is designed with small grooves along the edges of the plate giving less blade exposure to the skin.
