How did Seis Cosmetics come to be?

Seis Cosmetics draws its inspiration from a deeply personal and transformative journey. Born out of the profound loss of my beloved mother to Glioblastoma brain cancer, this brand is a testament to her enduring love for makeup and an unwavering desire to channel my grief into something truly beautiful.

 Driven by an unyielding passion for the artistry and creativity of makeup, Seis Cosmetics seeks to captivate the hearts of beauty and makeup enthusiasts alike. Our mission is to empower individuals to embrace their unique beauty, while showcasing diversity and culturally curated products. 

Each product within our collection has been meticulously crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. From vibrant to nude shades that ignite creativity to that exude confidence, our cosmetics are designed to enhance natural beauty, enabling our customers to express themselves authentically.

What inspired the name Seis Cosmetics?

The name Seis Cosmetics was inspired by who I am. As a Latina and woman of color,  I wanted to honor my Latin culture and I was adamant about using a Spanish name. Seis means six in Spanish and the number is significant to me because I am my father’s sixth child.  My father was born in the Dominican Republic and he was a businessman; it was only right that I pay some respect to him. 

How important is being vegan to Seis Cosmetics?

Vegan lip products play a vital role in the beauty industry by addressing the growing demand for ethical and sustainable beauty options. First and foremost, vegan lip products align with the values of consumers who prioritize cruelty-free and animal-friendly choices. What are your 3 go-to Seis Cosmetics products?

Our entire collection of products are designed to bridge color cosmetics and lip care ingredients. We offer a variety of products formulated to nourish and hydrate our lips. My three go to products is the overnight Rose Lip Mask, it applies as a creaming balm and transforms into a silky comfortable oil. Revitalize, renew softness, and plump the lips while providing protection against free radicals’ aggressors for the perfect pout. Another one of my favorites is the Advance Luxe Gloss. It’s a multitasking tinted lip gloss and high definition shine! A true non-sticky conditioning lip gloss providing natural emollience, vitamins, and antioxidant protection. Last but certainly not least is the Semi Matte Lipstick; It’s made with vitamins, glides on super creamy and is available in 14 shades for any occasion and complimentary to all skin tones. 

In what ways does Seis Cosmetics give back?

Seis Cosmetics is committed to making a positive impact beyond the realm of beauty by giving back to the community in meaningful ways. With a focus on honoring the memory of my mother's battle with brain cancer and promoting diversity. 

Firstly, Seis Cosmetics actively raises awareness about the importance of diversity and representation within the beauty industry. We strive to celebrate and amplify the voices and beauty of individuals from all backgrounds, particularly emphasizing the rich heritage and experiences of the Latina community. By showcasing diverse models and collaborating with influencers from various ethnicities, we aim to inspire inclusivity and empower individuals to embrace their unique beauty.

Additionally, as a tribute to my mother's battle with brain cancer, Seis Cosmetics is dedicated to supporting the fight against this devastating disease. We donate a portion of our proceeds to organizations that focus on brain cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment.

What is your most memorable moment with Seis Cosmetics?

 My passion is to live a life with purpose. I enjoy traveling and learning about cultures through exploring new countries. Living a life with intentions is my passion; this is displayed through the commitment to diversity and charitable contributions, Seis Cosmetics strives to be more than just a beauty brand. We aim to foster a community that values compassion, inclusivity, and social responsibility.

How has Seis Cosmetics evolved throughout the years?

A brief look at my morning routine is, thank God. Waking up every morning with a heart full of gratitude is vital. Besides washing my face, applying my Smoothing Lip Balm and Rose Glow Facial Oil, I check emails, review tasks and meeting scheduled while seeking ways to maximize all opportunities and optimize our distribution channels. 

What does the future look like for Seis Cosmetics?

As a recently launched beauty brand, Seis Cosmetics is poised to make remarkable strides in the future, we have exciting plans to expand our product collection and establish ourselves as a prominent force within the beauty industry.

One of our primary goals is to scale our operations to meet the growing demand for Seis Cosmetics products. Simultaneously, we are dedicated to building strong brand awareness. We understand the importance of creating a distinct identity and fostering meaningful connections with our customers.

Looking ahead, innovation will remain a cornerstone of our brand. We are committed to continuously researching and developing new, cutting-edge formulations and product offerings.
