How To Use:

• It is best to shave in the morning, just after showering and before breakfast: the hair, made up mainly of keratin, will be more flexible and easier to cut, and your facial skin will be less fragile. Prepare your shaving foam by loading the shaving brush with soap or shaving cream. The use of products called " Preparing for shaving " has a double objective: amplifies the hydration of the hair by ridding it of its fatty layer (sebum) and on the other hand, protects the skin from the aggression of the blade.
• With shaving soap: Your face being wet beforehand(ideally after showering), quickly run your shaving brush under lukewarm water and emulsify the soap inside the bowl (without crushing the bristles) until you obtain a thick, creamy lather. Apply to the face in circular movements for one or two minutes, the time to soften and straighten the hairs of your beard sufficiently.
• With the shaving cream : Once your face has been prepared and the shaving brush moistened with lukewarm water, place a dab of cream on the top of the brush and soap the face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to deposit, directly with the tube, a trace of cream on each cheek which they will then emulsify with the brush.
• Apply the mousse to your wet face in circular motions to straighten the hairs. Shave in the direction of the hair, by limiting the number of passes of the blade, to avoid irritation. If you want to do a second pass, re-soap your face and shave, this time against the grain. Rinse the face with cool water and apply an after-shave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. The day can begin!

Maintenance: 

• To preserve the qualities of your beard brush for many years, we recommend rinsing it well after each use, to remove all traces of cream or soap and to drain it. Then rub it lightly on a bath towel before storing it, upside down , on a suitable support .
• Check the sharpness of your razor blade and replace it if worn. After shaving, cleansethe razor with hot water, to remove hair and other residues (shaving cream, soap, etc.) to prevent the proliferation of bacteria on the blades. Perfectly cleaned, the blade will retain its sharpness and efficiency for longer, giving you real pleasure while shaving.
